MEET RENEE TEERS, APPRENTICE

Hi Everyone. For those of you who haven't met me yet, my name is Renee Teers, and I have been training and working with Sarah in Equine Bodywork and Saddle Fitting since October 2023.

I have completed the Equinology EQ50 online equine anatomy course (August 2023) and the EQ100 Professional Bodyworkers Course (January 2024). I am currently waiting for my results on my externship which could be through any time now! So exciting.

I also attended a 2-day dissection course with Becks Nairn (February 2024) which was amazing. 

So much to learn. Sarah is fine-tuning my bodywork moves and I'm learning about saddle fitting as well as a million other things! I'm really enjoying my journey right now and looking forward to more courses and clinics in the future.

I have been passionate about horses ever since I was little, however without as many opportunities as I would have liked to be around them. So I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to work with horses everyday and I'm riding regularly now too! 🐎 🐴

My hobbies are sports and outdoor activities. I have competed nationally and internationally in speed skating, travelling to the world championships in Barcelona, Spain in 2019. I have retired from skating now to explore and work towards new goals. I also competed in Track and Field at high school. As an athlete I understand about the work that goes into reaching your goals.

In a nutshell, I love exercise and adventure and getting outside! I enjoy learning new things, gaining new knowledge and experience, and meeting new like-minded friends! For those of you I haven't met yet I look forward to it soon
